The 100 gift packages including money and essential commodities were presented to impoverished families in Phuoc Ha and Phuoc Thai communes.
Chairman of the chapter Tran Van Nghia said the organisation has encouraged individuals and organisations in Ho Chi Minh City to join hands in helping poverty-stricken compatriots in Ninh Thuan have a cozy Tet, the biggest festival in the country.-VNA
