Thailand’s Constitutional Court on February 12 rejected a request by the opposition Democrat Party (DP) to annul the February 2 election, which was disrupted by anti-government protests.
The court said it declined to consider the petition since there were insufficient grounds to do so.
Earlier, the DP submitted the request as it believes the polls violated the country’s election laws and the Thai Constitution.
