Caretaker Foreign Minister of Thailand Surapong Tovichakchaikul on February 13 called on foreign governments and international organisations to condemn anti-government protesters in the country.
Condemning the actions of protesters will not be seen as interference in Thailand 's internal affairs as it is in line with the Charter of the United Nations, Surapong was quoted by Bangkok Post as saying.
He called on the UN to take the lead in denouncing protesters while meeting diplomats from 51 countries as well as officials of four international organisations.
Surapong also said that the Thai caretaker government will complete the February 2 general election, which was disrupted by protesters.-VNA
