Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - The Thai government will host the “8th Celebration of Silk, ThaiSilk Road to the World 2018" at Centara Grand and Bangkok ConventionCentre next month.
In a press conference on November 26, Thai DeputyPrime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam announced that the 8th Celebration of Silk,Thai Silk Road to the World 2018, and the 1st International Thai Silk FashionWeek will be held simultaneously during the first week of December, showcasingmodern and traditional Thai silk and design as well as a collection of silkproducts from the SUPPORT Foundation of Queen Sirikit.
Besides fashion shows by Thai designers, internationaldesigners will have the opportunity to create their own collections of 12costumes of Thai Silk to participate in the International Thai Silk FashionWeek to be held between December 2 and 4.
The Thai silk expo will begin on December 1 and last until December 9.
The Fashion Week will be attended by winners of Miss Universe from 35 nations.-NNT/VNA
