Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - Officials from Thailand's National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) and the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of Myanmar had a meeting on March 7 to strengthen cooperation in preventing and suppressing corruption

The Chairman of the NACC, Pol. Gen. Watcharapol Prasarnrajkit, welcomed the Chairman of the ACC, U Aung Kyi, and his delegation during their official visit to Thailand.

At the meeting, the ACC acknowledged the NACC's continued efforts in receiving complaints, declaring the full extent of assets and liabilities of political office holders and government officials, and organising an anti-corruption education programme.

Both agencies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to exchange their working experience and anti-corruption measures last year.-VNA
