Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha will be attending the APEC meeting in China on November 9-11 and later join in the 25th ASEAN Summit in Myanmar on November 12-13.

The information was released by Major General Weerachon Sukonthapatipak, a spokesperson for the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO).

On October 30-31, General Prayut will pay a visit to Cambodia to meet Prime Minister Hun Sen to discuss measures to strength ties and several issues involving border disputes, cross-border economy, and energy cooperation.

As for his itinerary to Malaysia , dates have not yet been finalised. Nonetheless, the premier already met with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak at the ASEM Summit in Italy during which they planed to stage another talk sometime later regarding the peacemaking process in the Thailand’s Deep South.-VNA
