Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva will pay a one-day official visit to Singapore on June 22, according to acting government spokesman Panithan Wattanayakorn.

He will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban, Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya and PM's secretary-general Niphon Promphan, said the Bangkok Post.

PM Abhisit will call on Singapore President S.R. Nathan, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and meet leading businessmen to advise them of investment opportunities in Thailand.

Spokesman Panithan said the prime minister also plans trips to Vietnam, Myanmar, the Philippines and Brunei., and later to countries in Europe, the Middle East, North America and South America.

He will make an official visit to China from June 24-27./.
