Hanoi (VNA) – At least 24 people were wounded in a bomb blast at Phramongkutklao military hospital in the Thai capital city of Bangkok on May 22.

Thailand’s Deputy National Police Chief General Srivara Rangsibhramanakul affirmed that a bomb exploded at the hospital’s front desk.

Most of the injured were retired military officers who were waiting to receive medicine.

After the blast, police discovered pieces that used to create the bomb.

There was no claim of responsibility for the bomb attack.-VNA
