Thailand: Curfew lifted in 17 more provinces

Thailand's military-run National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) on June 10 lifted its curfew completely in 17 provinces and partially in three other provinces.
Thailand's military-run National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) on June 10 lifted its curfew completely in 17 provinces and partially in three other provinces.

However, the curfew from midnight to 4a.m remains in place in the capital city of Bangkok , according to a NCPO announcement.

The 17 provinces include Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Rayong, Chantaburi, Nakhon Phanom, Sakon Nakhon, Roi Et, Loei, Surin, Tak, Sukhothai, Mae Hong Son, Uttaradit, Phrae, Nan, Trang and Satun.

The revocation applied to certain districts in provinces of Songkhla, Phetchaburi and Trat.

The NCPO earlier lifted the curfew in 10 tourist destinations like Pattaya, Phuket and Koh Samui to allay the negative impact on the tourist sector.-VNA
