Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - The Money Expo Year-End 2017 is now taking place in Bangkok's BITEC Bangna, showcasing various savings and investment products

Thai Deputy Finance Minister Wisut Srisuphan chaired the opening of the expo and said the event aims to provide all sectors with avenues to save and invest their money, while also benefiting from tax deductions.

The expo is being held under the concept "Financial Innovation 4.0", where state-run and private financial institutions present investment opportunities. These include the Government Savings Bank's one-year, zero percent interest mortgage and its GSB SMEs Start Up loan for up to 10 million baht with 3.99 percent annual interest.

The Government Housing Bank is offering 40-year mortgages at 2.9 percent annual interest for the first three years. Meanwhile, Kasikorn Bank is offering a 2.25 percent annual yield tax-free savings account and Muang Thai Life Assurance a tax-deductible life insurance programme.
