Thai Culture Minister Weera Rojpotchanarat is leading a delegationto attend a bilateral meeting with his Peruvian counterpart to map out acultural cooperation framework and activities between the twocountries.
The minister is accompanied on this trip by a Thaicultural troupe which will give a special performance to celebrate the50 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Theperformance is scheduled to follow the bilateral discussion between thetwo ministers.
During the visit, the Thai delegation attended awelcoming party hosted the by Thai Ambassador to Peru RuengdejMahasaranond and Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs SuwatJiraphan.
The Ambassador reiterated to enhance the Thai-Peruvian relations through the cultural dimension.
Thailandand Peru, he said, have signed their first agreement on theconservation of museums and cooperation to bring back stolen ancientobjects of both countries.-VNA
