Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - Thailand's Department of Health Service Support is promoting the country's health products and services in Bangladesh, in an effort to turn Thailand into a leading medical hub of Asia.

The Deputy Director General of the Health Service Support Department, Thongchai Kiratihatthayakorn, said that his agency has implemented the government's medical hub project by participating in a festival in Dhaka to promote Thai medical services, spa services and traditional massage, and herbal products.

The festival was held to foster medical and educational relations between both countries, Thongchai added.

He said the Ministry of Public Health has also been cooperating with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports to accelerate the implementation of the medical hub project, which was initiated in 2015.
