Thailand to host ASEM High-Level Meeting on Marine Sustainability
Thailand, as a member of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM), will host the ASEM High-Level Meeting on Marine Sustainability in Bangkok on March 7 and 8.

The opening ceremony of the meeting will be presided over by Thai Minister of Foreign Affairs Don Pramudwinai.
The meeting will provide a platform for participants from Asia, Europe, international organizations and other relevant agencies to exchange knowledge and best practices on the promotion of marine sustainability to contribute to the attainment of Goal 14 (Life Below Water) of the United Nations’ (UN) Sustainable Development Goals.
The meeting will also be held in accordance with the pledge delivered by Thai Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha during the 12th ASEM Summit on October 18 and 19, 2018, in Brussels, Belgium.-VNA
