- The UK has sent military personnel to Thailand to take part in a joint exercise codenamed "Panther Gold 2017" in Kanchanaburi province.

The UK envoy arrived in Bangkok to participate in the exercise, which will take place from November 1-24.

The Panther Gold exercise aims to develop the military capabilities of the two armies through the exchange of field expertise, while strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries’ armed forces.-VNA
