Thailand’s industry confidence in June index has increased for the second consecutive month to 88.4 from 85.1 in May as the country's political stability was strengthened, according to the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI).
The rise in the industry confidence index reflected easing concern of industry operators on political stability, exchange rate, fuel prices, and global economy.
The FTI urged Thailand to explore and expand new export markets and improve its transport and logistics infrastructure in order to enable the country as the industry hub of ASEAN Economic Community.
The industry confidence index is expected to rise to 101.9 in the next three months.-VNA
