​Bangkok (VNA) – Thailand’s Prime Minister (PM) Prayut Chan-o-cha has reshuffled cabinet for the fourth time since he took office in 2014.

Prayut switched or appointed 12 members in his administration this time. The highest-level changes were the country’s Justice, Education and Industry Ministers.

Former Education Minister Dapong Ratanasuwan and former Justice Minister Paiboon Koom were earlier named by King Maha Vajiralongkorn as privy councilors.

Deputy Education Minister Teerakiat Jareonsettasin was appointed as Education Minister, while Minister of the PM’s Office Suwaphan Tanyuvardhana became new Justice Minister. Uttama Savanayana was appointed as new Industry Minister. 

There were also several changes in deputy minister positions of the Foreign Affairs, Transport, Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministries.-VNA
