According to local media, some arrived at the venue as early as 3 am of December 4. All of them were wearing yellow shirts as yellow is the symbolic color of the King.
It is the first time the King has made an appearance before a grand audience at Klai Kangwon Palace to mark his birthday.
The ceremony took place at 10.30 am with the participation of members of the royal family, royal guards, cabinet ministers, civil servants and members of the public.-VNA
