Vaccinations were administered to 23,000 out of 300,000 poultry at Hai Linh commune, where the A/H5N6 outbreak was first detected.
Three quarantine posts have been set up on main roads lead to Hai Linh with inspections around the clock in a bid to prevent illegal poultry transportation in and out of the vulnerable location.
Meanwhile, 300 litres of disinfectant and 8 specialists have been sent to the commune for the combat against the virus.-VNA
