Thua Thien-Hue gets support to address mine consequences

The People’s Committee of the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on July 22 received a project to assist mine victims in the province by the US’s Clear Path International (CPI).
The People’s Committee of the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on July22 received a project to assist mine victims in the province by theUS’s Clear Path International (CPI).

With a total capital of over 50,600 USD, the project will be carried out in Phong Dien district and Huong Thuy township.

Under the project, poor households of mine victims will be providedwith capital for buying seedlings and breeding animals, supporttechniques for farming and breeding and scholarships for children.Victims also get financial support for treatment during the projectduration.

The project will last until December 31, 2010./.

Over 3,400 administrative procedures, business conditions cut or simplified

Since April, the Government has issued 11 resolutions abolishing 56 conditional business lines. Compared to the 2025 Law on Investment, the number of conditional business sectors has been reduced by more than 28%, from 198 to 142. The resolutions also revised regulations governing 14 conditional business and investment sectors.

Unverified mobile subscriptions hit by service suspension from June 15
