With a series of activities year-round, the events aim to attract domestic and foreign visitors through popularising the country’s cultural, natural heritages and special festivals, especially in the northern central region, thus promoting position and images of the Vietnamese country and its people to the world.
Nguyen Van Cao, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, said that the National Tourism Year offers a chance for localities nationwide to promote linkages to build tourism products of national and international trademarks and draw investment in tourism./.
The tourism sector expects to welcome 7-8 million international visitors by 2015./.
