Three patients who tested positive for A/H1N1 virus in southern Tien Giang province have shown signs of recovery after four days of treatment.

According to the provincial General Hospital, the three patients, who work at the provincial Department of Justice, were sent to the hospital on June 8 with flu-like symptoms and then tested positive for influenza strain A/H1N1.

Two days later, the hospital received two others also from the department with similar symptoms. However, they were tested negative for the virus.

At present, all the patients are in intensive care in an isolated area of the hospital.

Doctors said that if their health continues to see good development, they will be discharged form hospital in the next five days.-VNA
