Timber supply matters to Vietnam’s wood industry

Many residents of Hanoi as well as tourists have recently experienced the unique culture and cuisine of the Republic of Korea along the stone footpath surrounding the country’s embassy in Hanoi’s Bac Tu Liem district.

The Lao Cai Provincial People’s Committee has launched a week showcasing traditional outfits worn by local ethnic groups. This is the first year the northern mountainous province has organised the event.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received visiting CEO of Apple Tim Cook in Hanoi on April 16, who he once met in the US in September 2022.

Vietnam is recognised as one of the countries with the richest biodiversity in the world with different ecosystems including tropical forests, marine and coastal ecosystems. However, experts from the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam said that Vietnam's biodiversity is degrading.

More than 10,000 tours and promotional tourism products at promotional prices were offered to visitors at the Vietnam International Travel Mart 2024 which wrapped up in Hanoi on April 14.
