At the event (Source: VNA) Binh, who is visiting the RoKfrom December 12-17, thanked the government, people, the Korea InternationalCooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Supreme Court of the RoK for working closelywith the Supreme People’s Court of Vietnam (SPCV) over the past decade, as wellas effectively assisting the Vietnam Court Academy (VCA) in improving thecapacity of its staff through a two-phase project worth nearly 13 million USDin official development assistance.
He hailed the project as one ofthe most effective technical assistance projects conducted by the SPCV, adding thatthe Vietnamese Party and State consider the VCA a symbol of successfulpartnership between the two countries’ court sectors.
Yang, for his part, expressed hishonour for the RoK’s contributions to the development of Vietnam’s court sectorand hoped that the bilateral partnership will be not only about infrastructurebut also extend to more practical fields.
The same day, the Vietnamesedelegation held a meeting with Minister of National Court Administration KoYoung-han and visited several units of the Supreme Court of the RoK.
During the stay, they will alsovisit the Foreign Ministry, KOICA and several Korean localities./.
