Binh, who is visiting the RoK from December 12-17, thanked the government, people, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Supreme Court of the RoK for working closely with the Supreme People’s Court of Vietnam (SPCV) over the past decade, as well as effectively assisting the Vietnam Court Academy (VCA) in improving the capacity of its staff through a two-phase project worth nearly 13 million USD in official development assistance.

He hailed the project as one of the most effective technical assistance projects conducted by the SPCV, adding that the Vietnamese Party and State consider the VCA a symbol of successful partnership between the two countries’ court sectors.

Yang, for his part, expressed his honour for the RoK’s contributions to the development of Vietnam’s court sector and hoped that the bilateral partnership will be not only about infrastructure but also extend to more practical fields.
