Toshiba Corporation today announced that it will hold its 21st Environmental Exhibition for the general public at Toshiba's Tokyo headquarters on February 9 and 10. The Exhibition will showcase Toshiba Group's latest environmentally conscious products and environmental initiatives.

In seeking to realize harmony with the Earth and richer lifestyles, Toshiba Group aims to become one of the world's foremost eco-companies—a company that incorporates environmental awareness into all aspects of business management; that exceeds other companies in environmental efficiency throughout product life cycles; and that supports individuals and society in achieving new, sustainable lifestyles.

Toshiba will also use the exhibition to unveil the grand design that unifies its strategies for becoming one of the world's foremost eco-companies, including the index of achievement that it will use to record progress made.

The exhibition is organized into four sections, each reflecting an aspect of the measures that Toshiba is promoting toward realization of "Toshiba Group Environmental Vision 2050": Greening of Process, which covers environmentally conscious manufacturing; Greening of Products, which focuses on environmentally conscious products; Greening by Technology, which covers energy and environmental technology; and Green Management, the foundations of Toshiba's approach to environmental management.

Toshiba aims to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through ever-closer integration of business management and environmental management, as the company accelerates the pace of expansion of its business to become a global leader.
