Tourist arrivals in Danang to surge during holidays
The number of tourists to Da Nang is estimated to increase 30.1 percent to over 290,000 on holidays between April 30 and May 1 against the same period last year.
The number of tourists to Da Nang is estimated to increase 30.1 percent to over 290,000 on holidays between April 30 and May 1 against the same period last year.
Of the figure, foreign arrivals may reach nearly 82,000, mostly from China, Japan and the Republic of Korea.
The increase is attributed to the opening of Da Nang International Firework Festival 2017 and diverse art shows on the occasion.
Da Nang is actively preparing for the event which will take place by the end of April. The two-month long event is expected to lure more visitors to the beach city.-VNA
