The second Zhejiang Export Fair opened on May 16 in Hanoi , attracting 138 enterprises from the Chinese province.

Nearly 200 booths at the fair displayed electronic and construction equipment, decorative materials, textile accessories and home equipment.

Through the fair, enterprises from China ’s fourth most-developed province sought to seek high quality material resources at competitive prices, particularly in the textile sector.

Last year, two-way trade between Vietnam and Zhejiang reached more than 2.8 billion USD. Vietnam mainly imported cotton, textile materials and exported coal, crude oil and rubber from the province.

By the end of 2011, Vietnam had operated 23 projects in Zhejiang with a total investment of nearly 22 million USD, while 153 firms from the province have invested more than 390 million USD into projects in Vietnam.-VNA
