Traveling during holidays has become a habit of many people in big cities in recent years. There will be two long national holidays in April, leading to an increase of 20 percent in travel demand compared to the same period last year.
According to travel agencies, short tour packages for the upcoming public holidays have attracted many people.
In domestic tours, holiday-makers often choose sea and islands or new destinations. It’s also a good time for tourists as localities such as Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, and Da Nang will organise several activities to welcome summer holidays.
Currently, most inbound tours are fully booked, and travel agencies only receive outbound tours to countries which apply visa exemptions for Vietnamese tourists.
Inbound tours are often overloaded during public holidays; therefore holiday-makers are advised to search information and book services in advance in order to avoid being overcharged.
Tourists should also increase their awareness on environment protection and behaviour to have a pleasant and memorable holiday.-VNA
