An award ceremony for travel photos praising Vietnam’s beautiful
landscape, people and culture took place in Hanoi on July 5.
The sixth travel photography contest drew the excited participation of 590 domestic and foreign photographers, as part of activities celebrating the 53 rd anniversary of Vietnam’s tourism sector.
Since its launch five months ago, nearly 6,500 photos were entered, with 1,599 from Hanoi .
Themed “Vietnam-the endless beauty”, the contest aims to popularise unique features of Vietnamese culture, as well as the country’s beautiful landscapes and world heritages to international friends.
The best 152 photos are on display at an exhibition running from July 5-9.-VNA
