Tri An - southern Vietnam's largest hydropower project

The Tri An Hydropower Plant, located on the Dong Nai river in Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province, is situated 65 kilometers northeast of Ho Chi Minh City. Officially inaugurated in 1991, the plant plays a crucial role in supplying power for economic and social development of 16 southern provinces and cities, while also ensuring water supply for industrial and domestic use for millions of residents.
