Accordingly, a testing centre will be built by the Ministry of Public Security with a cost of 285 billion VND (13.4 million USD) and another worth 229 billion VND (10.7 million USD) by the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
The Prime Minister also assigned leaders of the two offices to speed up related works and procedures.
Vietnam is striving to identify remains of 80,000 martyrs without adequate personal information by genetic testing by 2020.
Millions of Vietnamese soldiers fell down for the national liberation during the two resistance wars against French and US forces as well as in international missions in Laos and Cambodia.
Thousands of the fallen are still unaccounted for across Vietnam and the two neighbouring countries.VNA
