The United Kingdom will provide Vietnam with 70 million GBP (114.2 million USD) in non-refundable aid for the 2011-2014 period to help the country achieve Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
The agreement to this effect was signed by Vietnamese Minister of Planning and Investment Vo Hong Phuc and UK Minister of State for International Development Alan Duncan, in Hanoi on May 26.

This was part of adjustments to the Development Partnership Agreement (DPA) between the Vietnamese government and the UK government for the 2011-2016 period./.
