After more than a month of urgent construction, Hoang Mai field hospital with 500 beds in the Hanoi capital is days away from being completed.
As noted by our reporters, the hospital has been installed with nearly full equipment such as a wall system to divide patient rooms, an oxygen supply system; a monitoring camera system, and other types of machines to treat serious patients.
More than 400 standard hospital beds have been installed, ensuring strict requirements according to regulations. The hospital was designed to avoid disease transmission. The air is only circulated in one direction.
The hospital is divided into 3 zones: The blue house is the administrative area.
The yellow house is the nutrition-resting- periodical testing area. This is also a medical equipment warehouse.
The red zone is for critically ill patients, who are receiving ICU treatment.
In addition, the hospital also has a buffer zone, including 69 disinfecting bathrooms, and many green spaces.
The hospital will be handed over to the Medical University Hospital from the beginning of September. The Medical University Hospital will coordinate with the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases to treat severe cases in Hanoi and northern provinces in this field hospital./.
