Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Carden said that US authorities at all levels will support ASEAN in realising its vision on international integration, security, prosperity and democracy in Southeast Asia .
The US is the second non-ASEAN country, following Japan , to accredit an ambassador to the group./.
