US firm expands capacity in Dong Nai

southern province of Dong Nai.

As a subsidiary of the American On Semiconductor Group, the company specialises in manufacturing energy saving products and semiconductor components.
The major expansion, which cost 75 million USD, will see the company raise its production capacity from 20 million power integrated circuits (ICs) to 50 million each year.
Covering an area of about 23,500 sq.m, the factory is generating jobs for 1,500 workers and planning to employ more in order to fulfill production requirements.
Dinh Quoc Thai, Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee, expressed his hope that the company will work as a bridge linking the locality with US investors, and pledged his full support for its operations.-VNA
