The US pianist Anna Polonsky and violinist Stefan Jackiw will kick off the 19th annual Hennessy Concert Series, which will take place at the Hanoi Opera House on May 29.

Jackiw began playing violin at the age of four. He is recognised as one of his generation’s most significant artists, captivating audiences with playing that combines poetry and purity with an impeccable technique.

Polonsky is widely in demand as a soloist and chamber musician. She has appeared alongside many famous musicians and is regularly invited to perform chamber music at festivals throughout the world.

The concert, organised by the Performing Arts Agency of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Moet Hennessy, will be broadcasted via a giant video screen located in the plaza of the Hanoi Opera House.-VNA
