Hanoi (VNA) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central CommitteeTran Thanh Man on February 22 visited the Vietnam Union of Science andTechnology Associations (VUSTA) and the Committee for Solidarity of VietnameseCatholics – two member organisations of the VFF.

Praising the outcomesof collaboration between the VFF and the VUSTA, Man noted that the union haseffectively implemented joint projects between the two sides.

He acknowledgedthe VUSTA’s contributions, expressing his wish for more bilateral cooperationprogrammes to capitalise on capacity of intellectuals and scientists inscience-technology, education-training, and environment-climate change adaptation.

The VFF and the VUSTAshould work together to compile outstanding works and publications, and tolaunch the Vietnam Innovation Golden Book.

Visiting the Committeefor Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics, Man expressed his delight at the workdone by the committee in promoting policy and law abidance, and patrioticcampaigns among VFF’s members.

He lauded the committee’sparticipation in charity activities, human resources training, and environmentalprotection.

Man said in thecoming time, the committee must continue its contributions to increasing publicawareness of the government’s policies and consolidating nationalsolidarity.-VNA
