President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s (VFF) Central CommitteeNguyen Thien Nhan and National Assembly deputies met with voters in YenThe district of northern Bac Giang province on November 30.
At the meeting, provincial National Assembly deputies informed theoutcomes of the eighth session of the 13 th legislature which wrappedup on November 28 after more than one month of working with a heavyagenda dealing with many important issues.
The voters proposed the Government seek more effective measures togenerate jobs for university graduates and increase the number ofteachers in mountainous and disadvantaged regions.
They also asked for increased investment in building roads and bridgesin mountainous areas, policies to assist farmers in production andselling farm produce, and more effective implementation of socialwelfare policies.
The VFF chief took note of therecommendations and shared experience of other localities nationwide inbuilding new-style rural areas.-VNA
