A Vietnamese delegation led by Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh arrived in Ulan Bator on May 7 evening, beginning a four-day official visit to Mongolia.

Ulan Bator (VNA) – A Vietnamesedelegation led by Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh arrived in Ulan Bator onMay 7 evening, beginning a four-day official visit to Mongolia.

The visit aims to promote the traditionalfriendship between the two countries as well as enhance mutually-beneficial bilateralcooperation in economics, trade, labour, education, culture and tourism.

The Vietnamese Vice President is scheduled tohold talks with Mongolian Prime Minister Jargaltulgyn Erdenebat following theofficial welcome ceremony on May 8 morning.

Vietnam and Mongolia have developedlong-standing friendship and multi-faceted cooperation in various fields sincethey established diplomatic ties in November 1954.-VNA
