Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan met with donors for the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC) in Hanoi on January 14.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice President Doan praised businesses, organisations and individuals for their contributions to the care, protection and education of children.

She said she hoped that more businesses and compassionate people will join hands to support the fund in the future.

She affirmed the work relating to the development of children is part of the human development strategy of the Party and the State.

Since the NFVC was established in 1992, it has raised more than 3.2 trillion VND in donations, contributing to changing the lives of millions of children in difficult circumstances and supporting tens of thousands of disabled kids.
