families of martyrs, war invalids, and Vietnamese heroic mothers in the
central province of Quang Tri.
At a meeting held on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day which falls on July 27, the Vice President showed her gratitude to and highly valued the contributions of families of war invalids, fallen combatants and other revolutionary contributors to the national revolutionary cause.
Doan said the Party and State always pay special attention to improving living standards of families of martyrs and war invalids who offered great sacrifices to the cause of national liberation and reunification led by the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Earlier in the day, the Vice President offered incense and laid a wreath at the Truong Son Martyrs’ Cemetery in the province.
