Hanoi (VNA) – A short video promoting Vetnam’s tourism has been officially released on the US Cable News Network (CNN), the Tourism Information Technology Centre under the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism announced on December 27.

Promoting Vietnam tourism on CNN is expected to create a breakthrough in efforts to promote Vietnam’s images abroad, a country with beautiful landscapes, unique culture, and high-quality tourism products. This aims to position Vietnam as an ideal destination for travelers worldwide, boosting international tourist arrivals in the new year 2025.

The 30-second video will be broadcast on CNN's television channel and digital platforms. Titled Come and discover a charming Vietnam!, the video features carefully selected and polished images that evoke emotions and positive energy among viewers about Vietnam, leaving a lasting impression of the Vietnamese brand on international friends.

Over the first 11 months of this year, Vietnam welcomed more than 15.8 million foreign tourists, reflecting an impressive 41% annual growth.

Tourism revenue for the first 11 months is estimated at 57.5 trillion VND (2.3 billion USD), reflecting a 17.3% hike compared to the same period last year. This success is attributed to local tourism promotion efforts that have been in full swing since early this year.

Vietnam's tourism sector is on track to meet its 2024 target of welcoming some 17 - 18 million foreigners./.
