Vienam, Laos embark on ‘five star’ cooperation

A five-star hotel complex worth 70 million USD will be built in Laos’ capital city of Vientiane, significantly contributing to the fine diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Laos.
A five-star hotel complex worth 70million USD will be built in Laos’ capital city of Vientiane,significantly contributing to the fine diplomatic ties between Vietnamand Laos.

A contract to the project was signed inVientiane on February 1 by the Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security,Halong Investment and Development Company (BIM Group) and Laos’Security Ministry (SM) and the Logistics Department under Lao SM.

Covering an area of 20,000 sq.m, the project will include a five-starhotel complex, trade and entertainment centres that meet internationalstandards, and numerous departments for lease.

The construction of the project’s first phase is expected to be complete in 2013./.

Average consumer price index (CPI) rose 4.52% in the first nine months, roughly in line with the National Assembly (NA)'s full-year target, while core inflation climbed 4.26%, the National Statistics Office (NSO) reported.
