VietinBank launches new online payments service
The Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank
for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) in coordination with OnePay, a
distributor of online payment services, has launched a trial run of
online payment services by E-partner cards.

online payment services by E-partner cards.
The service will benefit almost 3 million of VietinBank’s E-partner card holders who can now use their accounts to purchase goods or pay charges via websites that directly link up with VietinBank.
The service will also assist businesses to promote online sales and shorten the payment and delivery process.
During the trial period, which lasts till Dec. 9, VietinBank will link up with five websites, namely http://www.nganluong.vn , www.lacviet.com.vn , www.vnsupermark.com , www.e-city.vn , and www.pavietnam.vn , to provide online payment services for goods bought from eBay, online game cards from Vinagame, VTC, FPT, Asiasoft and Saigontel, Auto cards and anti-virus programmes.
The services will then be expanded to include other partners such as Jetstar Pacific Airlines, Viettravel, FPT Data, Megastar Media and Chodientu.
VietinBank is one of the first Vietnamese banks to use advanced e-commerce technologies. It has become popular with many businesses in providing online payment services./.
