VietJet Air contributes 349 billion VND to state budget

contributed 349 billion VND (16.6 million USD) to the state budget over
the past seven months of this year.

By deploying 15 Airbus A320 more in the reviewed period, the low-budget carrier transported nearly 3 million passengers, an increase of 182 percent compared with the same time of 2013.
It earned 3,818 billion VND (182 million USD) in revenues, a carrier’s representative has said.
The carrier is currently offering service on 27 domestic and international routes, with the latest international one linking Hanoi and Seoul , the Republic of Korea .
In 2013, the airline transported more than 4.3 million passengers, accounting for about 26 percent of the domestic market share.-VNA
