Bangkok (VNA)Thai Vietjet has celebrated its maiden flight connecting Hat Yai, a center of trade, transportation and tourism in southern Thailand and the famous destination of Chiang Rai in the North.

The inaugural flights VZ408 and VZ409 in return on November 1 have brought big surprise for passengers on board, including lively cabin crew dance performance “Fly for Love” and lucky draw to win complimentary air tickets.

All passengers onboard the inaugural flights also received lovely souvenirs from the airline.

The new service Hat Yai – Chiang Rai operates four flights per week starting November 1, 2020. The flight duration is around 2 hour 15 minutes per leg. The flight departs from Hat Yai International Airport at 8:55 and arrives in Chiang Rai Mae FahLuang Airport at 11:05; the return flight takes off from Chiang Rai at 11:35 and arrives in Hat Yai at 13:05 (all in local time).

To offer additional valued benefits and convenience, particularly to those who fly frequently, the carrier launched its Hat Yai Pass, an unlimited flight pass on the carrier’s domestic services to/from Hat Yai, including Bangkok – Hat Yai – Bangkok and Chiang Rai – Hat Yai – Chiang Rai. The Hat Yai Pass is redeemable to book tickets multiple times within six months from November 16, 2020 to May 15, 2021 (except certain public holidays) and now available for purchase on Skyfun.vietjetair.com at THB 7,200 (not inclusive of VAT, surcharge and add-on for travels).
