Hanoi (VNA) - The aircraft coded VN-A675 arrived at Tan Son Nhat International airport from Toulouse, France.

This is Vietjet’s 18th aircraft from the 100 aircraft order from the European aircraft maker Airbus. Previously Vietjet took delivery of a new A320 aircraft coded VN-A676 from Toulouse and another A321 aircraft coded VN-A673 from Hamburg, Germany.

With these new aircraft, Vietjet now operates a fleet of 40 A320s and A321s to meet the people’s increasing travel demand as well as expand its network domestically and internationally.

To welcome the event, Vietjet announced the golden-promotion days within June 14-16 with one million super-saving tickets.

Vietjet is the first airline in Vietnam to operate as a new-age airline with low-cost and diversified services to meet customers’ demands.

Currently, the airline boasts a fleet of 40 aircraft, including A320s and A321s, and operates 250 flights each day. It has already opened 50 routes in Vietnam and across the region to international destinations such as Thailand, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, China and Myanmar. It has carried about 25 million passengers to date.-VNA
