VietJetAir launches Vinh-Da Lat air route

Vietnam’s leading budget carrier VietJetAir on December 26 launched a new route between Vinh city in central Nghe An province and Da Lat city in Central Highlands Lam Dong province, on the occasion of the resort city’s flower festival.
Vietnam’s leading budget carrier VietJetAir on December 26 launched anew route between Vinh city in central Nghe An province and Da Lat cityin Central Highlands Lam Dong province, on the occasion of the resortcity’s flower festival.

The airline conducts three roundflights per week on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with a totalcapacity of 1,080 seats.

The air route, which turns to the 16 th, helps connect the two famous tourist and historical sites and meetpeople’s demand for travel.

VietJetAir now runs more than 500 flights per week, on 16 domestic and international air routes.
It has recently reached an 800 million USD deal to buy 40 enginesfrom CFM International, a joint venture between General Electric andSnecma, a unit of France's Safran SA.
It has secured a loanagreement with BNP Paribas bank to purchase new aircraft in 2014, withthe three Airbus costing 258 million USD be delivered in the year.

This is the airline's next step in realising an agreement with Airbusto purchase 100 planes, which was signed on May 9, 2013.

The agreement aims to meet VietJetAir's vision for building the mostmodern fleet in the region and becoming a multi-national airline.-VNA
