Speaking after attending the eighth political consultation between the two foreign ministries in Singapore on July 10-11, the minister further said he is pleased with the strong development of the bilateral ties, especially the establishment of a strategic partnership during Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s official visit to Vietnam last September.
He suggested both sides work closely to deepen their effective and reliable cooperation by increasing the exchange of delegations at all levels and promoting all-round ties, particularly in economy.
The FM also spoke highly of the Vietnamese Government’s efforts and measures to ensure a safe and favourable investment environment for foreign investors.-VNA
