Duringthe annual meeting on November 20, chief executive officers ofSkyTeam’s member airlines will discuss development plans for 2015 with afocus on improving the services’ quality.
Dialogue between Vietnam Airlines and others in SkyTeam will also be included.
SkyTeamis a global airline alliance providing customs from member airlinesaccess to an extensive global network with more destinations, higherfrequency, and better connectivity than a single airline can offer.
Currently,SkyTeam’s 20-member carriers offer more than 16,420 daily flights to1,064 destinations in 177 countries and serve 612 million passengers peryear, said its CEO Micheal Wisbrun at a press conference on November19.
Vietnam Airlines became a member of SkyTeam in June 2010.With close cooperation among members, the national carrier has beenexpanding its flight network to deeply penetrate the world aviationmarket while effectively connecting other members with its network inSoutheast Asia.-VNA
